Verna Klien (born 4 Sept 1995 in Vienna) is an Austrian racing driver currently contracted to High Performance Driver Talent Management, the driver management arm of the High Performance Group.
She is a cousin of fellow Austrian racing driver Christian Klien and currently competes in the International Formula Reject Challenge and F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup series.
Early career
Klien was racing karts in Austria and Switzerland from a young age, alongside her cousin Christian. While Christian graduated from karts to Formula BMW, Formula 3, and, eventually, Formula One, Verna was not picked up to run in a higher-class series.
HPDTM eventually signed Klien to help her career along and have managed to gain her a seat in IFRC with the Melrose Racing Team, while also running her in their Mazda factory supported F1RSTC team.
Career

Klien will drive for HPR in the #33 Mazda 323 for the 2016 season.
IFRC
Klien will drive for the Melrose Racing Team in the #20 BMW-Cosworth from round 6 onwards, replacing Benoît Voeckler.
