Julian Clark (born 16 June 1996 in Birmingham, England) is a British racing driver currently contracted to High Performance Driver Talent Management, the driver management arm of the High Performance Group. He currently drives for Onyx Toyota Racing in the Rejects Touring Car Championship.
He is the grandnephew of Scottish racing driver Jim Clark.
Career
Clark's first motorsport experience was racing in karts when he was 8. He was encouraged by the efforts of his granduncle Jim and aspired to be just like him.
After some major successes in karts, including several wins, Clark was signed by High Performance Driver Talent Management in 2008 at the age of 12. HPDTM have managed his career from then on, gaining him seats in sprintcars, GP cars, and other series in the years following.
Clark was signed by Onyx Toyota Racing to compete in the RTCC for 2016 at the age of 18, replacing Marisa Carrera mid-season.
