Jorge Álvarez Torrente (born 12th January 1999 in Granada, Spain) is a Spanish racer currently contracted to Astro Racing Stars. He is the younger brother of F2RWRS driver Diego Álvarez Torrente.
Early Life
Jorge was born to José Álvarez, a former racing driver, and Ximena, a store manager in Granada. After seeing his brother Diego make a name for himself in the karting scene, Jorge wanted to see if he could do so too. Having impressed in his home region of Andalusia, Jorge moved to more national categories and impressed further there. After his brother was signed by Astro and impressed in the RoLFS category, Jorge followed suit after impressing the team in a behind-closed-doors test of an RDS car.
