Richard Young (born June 8, 1989 in Salford, Greater Manchester) is a British racing driver currently contracted to Gregg Racing in the Rejects Rallycross Championship and is a huge fan of Indiana Jones because of sharing his name with one of the actors.
Personal life and career
Young has taken part in the X Games since 2011 and raced in the Global RallyCross Championship for two years, where he beat Tanner Foust to the line in Irwindale in 2015 to win his first GRC event.
Young was selected as one of two drivers to drive for Gregg Racing in the 2016 Rejects Rallycross Championship season, and was gobsmacked to find that he was paired up with Japanese anime star Haruhi Suzumiya. He would then set the first ever fastest lap in the series at International Rallycross as Italian Massimo Munari won the heats.
